President

The virtuoso of the brush, Asit Kumar Patnaik, is the luminary President of our cherished Alumni association. From the halls of Khallikote's Govt. College of Art and Crafts to the pinnacle of his craft, his journey unfurls in strokes of artistic brilliance.  His works have garnered him numerous accolades, including a National Cultural Scholarship and Junior Fellowship from MHRD, The Department of Culture, Govt. of India. His remarkable talent has graced renowned venues such as the Jehangir Art Gallery, World Art Dubai, and the Florence Biennale. His creations adorn private and public collections in India, USA, UK, South Korea, UAE, Australia, Bangladesh, South Africa, Germany, and Switzerland.  Asit Kumar Patnaik, the guiding light of our association, serves as an inspiration to artists and art enthusiasts, weaving a spellbinding narrative through his brush and creating a legacy that resonates with the depths of the human soul.

Bipin Bihari Martha

An artist of profound vision and unceasing dedication, Bipin Bihari Martha stands as a radiant emblem of our cherished Alumni Association. With a rich legacy etched in 23 years of artistic journey, Bipin embarked on this path in 2000, commencing his Bachelor in Fine Arts at the Government College of Art & Crafts, Khallikote. Today, he guides the aspiring minds as a Lecturer and Head of the Department of Oil Painting at GCAC, Khallikote, Odisha. His canvas extends far and wide, as he once adorned the role of Regional Secretary at Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata, from 2019 to 2023. Bipin's influence stretches beyond the classroom, for he also graced the halls of Amity University as a Visiting Faculty from 2007 to 2011. In every brushstroke and lecture, he embodies the essence of artistic luminance. Bipin Bihari Martha, a beacon of inspiration, illuminating the path for our association's future artists.

An iconic personality of embodying artistic brilliance having a good academic excellence, Dr. Rebati Kanta Moharana recipient of Rajib Gandhi Sikshya Samman and many accolades in the field of Visual Art. He completed his bachelor  degree from Govt. College of Art, Khallikote, master degree from Banaras Hindu University and awarded Ph.D degree from Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar. He takes the responsibility  as the General Secretary of  GCAC Alumni and an arduous employee of Rama Devi Women's University as well as officiating  District  Coordinator, BBSR Zone  in Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha State Branch.

With a profound expertise of 26 years in the realm of art and a distinguished professional background, Kailash Chandra Prusty assumes the role of our esteemed Joint Secretary. As a seasoned professional artist, he brings a wealth of experience and a Bachelor's degree from the prestigious Govt. College of Art & Craft, Khallikote & Master’s degree in Govt. college of fine Art, Jabalpur, MP. His artistic journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and a deep understanding of the Art & Crafts. He has been functioning as an Art Teacher in the Art field in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya since 2004  as many pupils were impacted by him and assembled several spaces of artistic talent. His artistic expressions transcend boundaries, evoking emotions and unraveling captivating narratives. He has won gold medal, silver medal and state level awards in several organizations and he has displayed 100 paintings in his solo exhibition. With his invaluable contributions and unwavering commitment, he plays a pivotal role in driving our association's mission forward, fostering creativity, and strengthening our artistic community.

Kalicharan's deep passion for advertising creativity and event management fuels his meticulous planning and flawless execution, turning client visions into captivating realities. With a proven track record in resource planning, vendor management, and client communications, he crafts immersive experiences that leave an indelible mark. Kalicharan Padhi's artistic finesse and unwavering dedication shine through, making him a true luminary in the realm of creative expression.

Serving as the Principal at Balasore Art and Crafts College in Odisha, Nikunja passionately guides emerging talents towards artistic excellence. His educational foundation includes a B.F.A. from Govt. College of Art & Crafts in Khalikote and an M.F.A. from the revered Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidya Pitha in Varanasi. With 29 years of experience in this field, Nikunja's artistic vision and professional achievements make him a formidable force within our association, inspiring artists and fostering a vibrant creative community.

Radiating expertise in art and backed by a remarkable professional background, Dharmapada Biswal stands as a cherished member of our esteemed alumni association. With a BFA from the Govt College of Art and Craft Khallikote and an MFA from Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh, MP, his artistic journey began in 1997. His talent has earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the Orissa Lalit Kala Akademi State Award (2001) and the Camel Award for winning the first prize in B.F.A. Examination (GCAC Khallikote). Dharmapada's artistry has also garnered recognition at various national and state-level exhibitions and festivals. Presently, he thrives as a freelance artist while inspiring young minds as an art teacher at JNV, NVS, Bagudi, and Balasore. Dharmapada's exceptional journey continues to leave an indelible mark in the realm of visual arts.
